Joy learns about a secret that Eddie has been hiding from her for a long time. She finds out his favorite meatball-sandwich shop, that Eddie has been keeping a secret form her. After this discovery, Joy realizes that she and Eddie have reached that stage in their married lives, when it is impossible for them to keep anything secret from one another. She also realizes that this is because she and Eddie have been married for many years and the long years of association with each other has made them learn everything there is to learn about each other and perhaps that is what has made their matrimony a success. Later, Joy is distracted when she hears Steph’s comments while she talks about her less-than-mysterious marriage. This puts a new idea in Joy’s mind and she decides to spice up her marriage a little bit. To achieve the same she suggests to Eddie that they both should come up with a new secret and see if they are able to find out each others secret.
