Kenny and Joy develop a new friendship and start spending a lot of time together. Their closeness grows to the extent where Kenny is referred to as Joy’s “girlfriend.” This not only makes Eddie jealous but he also feels ignored and neglected by both his wife and his friend. Meanwhile, Joy is quite enthusiastic about organizing a work party based on the 70s theme. However, Eddie in an attempt to make himself a part of Kenny and Joy’s girl-talk crashes the much awaited and well organized party of Joy. Thus, he ruins his wife’s party for which she had put in great effort, and upsets her. In addition, he also causes a disco mishap at the party which results in Joy getting injured and ending up being hospitalized.
