‘Til Death

Season 1 was premiered on September 7, 2006 and the season opener was entitled ‘Pilot’. The season opener introduces us with Eddie and Joy Stark, who have been married for more than 8000+ days. Steph and Jeff Woodcock, the newly weds, are their next door neighbors. In the next episode ‘Sex for Furniture’, both men find out that their wives are trading sex for household power and they try to turn their manipulation around to their advantage. Next episode ‘The Ring’ shows Jeff who helps Eddie to give the engagement ring to Joy. In the episode ‘The Wood Pile’, Eddie seeks the help of his next door neighbors when his wife argues with him and the reason of argument is a precious pile of wood. ‘Your Mother or Your Wife’ shows a troubled Jeff when his mother visits them and her arrival threatens to ruin his relationship with his wife. He goes to Eddie and Joy to take an advice about how to manage the two.

Next episode was ‘The Garage Band’. In the episode ‘Death Sex’ we see that Eddie has an injury and he’s sure that he’s going to die very soon so he and Joy rekindle their love. Later on, Eddie discovers that he’s all right but takes the full advantage of the situation by not telling the truth to Joy. In ‘The Toaster’, Joy and Eddie argue over whether or not you save electricity by unplugging the toaster. In ‘Daddy’s Girl’, we see that Allison comes to celebrate the New Year eve with her parents (Eddie and Joy) and in the end of this episode, she realizes that she loves her dad – just the way he is. It’s Vicki and Stan’s 25^th anniversary party in the episode entitled ‘The Anniversary Party’. Various other plot developments are- Joy and Eddie have a fight; Eddie wants to have a female friend so takes permission from Joy; a roll of film reminds Eddie of a trip he took with Joy to Italy; Allison reveals her future plans to her parents and they both want her to do things differently. Season finale ‘Summer of Love’ was aired on April 11, 2007. 22 episodes were aired during the first season of series.

Season’s Top Ranked Episode ‘The Bachelor Party’

Guys find out that Jeff never had a bachelor’s party so they plan to throw a boys’ party (boys’ night) at a Local Club. But it results in mayhem when Nicole tags along with Cofeld. Joy is sick and Steph has a recipe to make her feel better.
