I was disheartened to see the characters of Jeff Woodcock and Steph Woodcock missing from Season 3 of Till Death. They represented a married couple in stark contrast with the married couple consisting of protagonists, Eddie Stark and Joy Stark.  The interactions between these married couples were epicenter for creation of drama and comedy in Till Death. No doubt season 3 of Till Death was as rocking as preceding seasons but to miss the old characters made me nostalgic about the all those moments that were part of this TV show which I missed in season 3.

I cannot stop myself from writing about my favorite episodes of Till Death that involved both these couples.  Though it is pretty difficult to pick up a favorite among the long list of Till Death episodes I loved the episode titled “Come Out and Play” This episode is based upon a lie told by Eddie to Joy that he was quiet efficient at playing basketball. This lie was told a long time back when this couple was unmarried and just dating. This leads to Jeff picking up Eddie for a basketball team. However, Eddie’s prowess at the basketball just being a plain lie creates a lots of confusion, drama and funny moments in this particular episode.

This is what I missed all through season 3 of Till Death. Bring back Stark’s neighbors to refurbish the old fun element to the TV show. I am still waiting the official announcement for airing dates of season 4 of Till Death. I found this website very useful for catching up with news about TV shows airing on various American TV channels. This proved to be an ideal place to download episodes of my favorite TV shows as well. I have downloaded a lot of stuff from this place inclusive of Till Death episodes. I was overjoyed when I discovered that all the stuff I downloaded over this website exhibited DVD quality video and sound. With additional description on TV shows my joy broke the cage of limits to become limitless.

Hey people! Til Death TV show has been one of the most fascinating comedies being aired on the cable television. However, when the series suddenly stopped airing after only the first few episodes of the Season 3 had been aired, it hugely disappointed the fans. There were rumors that the show had been cancelled because of the deep decline in the ratings and that there were absolutely no chances of it returning back to television. As the weeks turned into months, and there was no news about the airing of the remaining episodes of Season 3, people also started believing that their favorite series had finally been axed. However, there is some really good news for all the fans of the show including me. Fox Network has confirmed that it will give Til Death another chance, by bringing it back for another season. The upcoming season will have a total of twenty two episodes and is scheduled to be aired in the next year. However, the fate of the remaining fifteen unaired episodes of Season 3 has not been confirmed as yet. Seemingly, the episodes might be aired sometime later this year as Fox’s schedule is completely full this time thanks to the returns of American Idol and 24.

However, I am really ecstatic by the news that Fox has given a new lease of life to one of my favorite comedies, Til Death. This, fun filled show, which revolves around the life of long-married couple Eddie played by Brad Garrett and Joy Stark played by Joely Fisher, highlights the triumphs and tribulations of marriage and friendship from very different perspectives. Til Death is a great series that really grows on you. Although the plotlines are not quite unique and we can find traces of other similar series like, Married… With Children, here and there, but the way it is presented makes it unique in itself. I find every new episode to be quite hilarious and the hard work of the entire cast and the crew really comes across. I am sure that we will soon get to see the remaining Til Death episodes of Season 3 as well!

If you know and if you don’t know- ‘Til Death‘ is currently running with the third season and three episodes have already been aired during this season. Last episode entitled ‘Dreamguys’, aired on September 24, 08, was an enjoyable episode and here’s a little review of it:

We see that Kenny and Joy become friends and that’s what Eddie is not okay with. He feels jealous of their girl-talk and also feels left out of everything. The man tries his best to get included with them and while doing so, he unintentionally sends Joy to the hospital.

Next episode ‘Sugar Dougie’ of series will be aired on October 1, 08. We’ll see that Allison, Eddie & Joy’s daughter, comes home with her hippie boyfriend, Doug. After an argument, Allison and Doug decide to get separated. Eddie is happy with their decision until he finds that Doug is a rich guy. Both husband and wife, Eddie and Joy, try their best to get them together. Here’s the list of the episodes scheduled to air next:

‘Circumdecision’ will be aired on October 8, 2008. Next episodes are ‘The Buffer’ and ‘The Courtship of Eddie’s parents’.

Before I go ahead to discuss why I love the show, let me share something else about ‘Til Death’. When series was yet to be aired and promos were being shown on TV and also on entertainment websites, I came to know that a new show was going to be premiered very soon. And, the show was entitled ‘Til Death’. You know, I simply thought that it’d be a show based on vampires and immortals (just see the name of series). But when I watched the series opener ‘Pilot’, I felt quite wrong. What I thought and what it was? Whatever…… I still loved the show and never skipped any episode of ‘Til Death‘.

Okay, why do you love ‘Til Death’? Well, I am crazy for the plot of the series…. What a wonderful subject they’ve chosen to entertain us. I must appreciate the acting skills of Eddie, Joy, Steph and Jeff- Credit of series’ success simply goes to them. Eddie and Joy are somehow like my mam and dad…. Often quarrel, but still love and think about each other. Their (of course Eddie and Joy) relationship tells how to be a better half when your other-half is pretty bore, aggressive and extra confident.

How prettily Eddie and Joy fight with each other and how sweet the reasons of their fights are…… an unnecessary/useless item can create a world-war in the house. Both of them are fully confident (or we can say, extra-confident) and there’s no word like ‘sorry’ in their dictionaries. Hey……. That’s’ what I like about the couple!

Two successive seasons have already been aired by the producers. Currently, the series is running with third season which is premiered on September 10, 08. Season opener was entitled ‘Speed Bumps’. It was a fantastic episode and we enjoyed it a lot. All episodes of third season are available here to download.
